WyandotCARES is a privately funded Christian organization that brings Released Time Bible Education to the public school students in Wyandot County. All classes are held off campus and run approximately 45 minutes once a week.
Students.
WyandotCARES classes are offered to:
3rd to 5th grades in Carey Schools
3rd to 6th at Mohawk Schools
4th to 8th grades in Upper Sandusky Schools
Classes are also offered to USHS students for CREDIT!
Volunteers.
“Is it legal, or isn’t it?” Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
But in 2002, these six words from a concerned parent led to the cancellation of Upper Sandusky’s weekday Bible education program which had been faithfully offered since 1957 – and in one form or another, back to the 1880’s.
